Module 1: Understand and experience stress

  • Stress is an imbalance which is unpleasant to you.

  • Stress arises, if you feel you are put under too much pressure, but you don`t know how you should manage the situation.

  • Stress can come from inside (e.g. expectations of yourself) or externally (e.g. time pressure, noise).

  • Stress is individually! What is a burden for the one that is a challenge for the other. People are therefore quite different in dealing with psychological and physical stress.

  • Stress is part of life. Short-term stress can be dealed effectively by the body.

  • Occasional stress helps you to develop your personal qualities.

  • Long-term or chronic stress leads to mismatches in the body and is therefore highly dangerous for your health.

  • Stress reactions are warning signs of your body, such as palpitation of the heart, headache, anxiety, concentration problems, hectic rush, which we should be listening to.
